According to a stunning new poll from the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics a surprisingly large number of Americans now think armed revolution ‘may be necessary’ to solve America’s problems.

To probably no one’s surprise, 73 percent of poll respondents who identify as “strong Republican” respondents agreed with the statement that the government is “corrupt and rigged against everyday people like me.” But Republicans are far from alone in this sentiment. Fifty-one percent of “very liberal” voters agreed with the same statement.
Overall, 56 percent of survey respondents said that the government is corrupt. This included 66 percent of all Republican respondents, 63 percent of independents, and 46 percent of Democrats.

The survey of 1,000 registered voters found that a significant number of people expect that extreme measures may be necessary to protect against government overreach. 28 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that “it may be necessary at some point soon for citizens to take up arms against the government.” Thirty-six percent of Republicans, 35 percent of independents, and 20 percent of Democrats agreed.
In addition only 34 percent of Republicans responded ‘yes’ when asked if ‘immigration is good for the country’ compared to 73 percent of Democrats.
Revolution is exactly what the Democrats wish to happen. They believe the military will have to destroy the ones opposing them and THEN they will achieve their greatest wish – to rule this country the same way Castro ruled Cuba.
I seriously doubt the military would have their backs. Yeah, some of the political generals would, but the mainstream? Not a chance.
Democrats just want the will of the majority of Americans to be the law of the land, and this is clearly not the case currently regarding issues like availability of abortion and making our people safe from massacres by eliminating assault weapon ownership by non-military/non-police personnel. As for Castro-ruled Cuba, communism essentially died in the early 1990s when eastern European countries got rid of that form of government. Communism is now confined to just a few countries. It would never, ever happen in the USA as long as Democrats ensure that all Americans have the right to vote. During the Covid pandemic, we saw that a huge percentage of people refused to take precautions against catching the virus by vaccinating, so there is no way that the American people would allow a government that would take over their businesses like communism would do. It simply isn’t possible. Just getting people to pay their taxes is difficult. The danger in America right now is authoritarianism, and this type of government won’t exist as long as we keep potentially dangerous dictators, like Trump, out of the White House.

This is exactly what the left is hoping for. Gives them reason to use the US military to destroy anyone who resists their New World Order. This is exactly what Pelosi hoped to provoke at the capital on January 6th. It didn’t happen, so now they are fabricating the insurrection that wasn’t with their current circus event.
Not surprised honestly. I mean the last few years have been really bad. I myself been even fighting with family over this. My dad has gone so far left since my mother who was on the right passed away and it’s just constant fighting. People ever where are just pissed and upset which is what the MSM wanted. Mentally balanced people are only going to tolerate the ongoing insanity for a short time longer.
Wow. This is not good news. An armed revolution would set us up for invasion by a foreign power. Hopefully we can solve this divide other ways. Biden is not the answer. Neither is liberalism.

I agree, I don’t agree to splitting this country up just to please the ignorant, I do agree to military action (if that’s what it takes) to remove every politician that trays & or wants to destroy this country and what it has always been
With about a third of people in the USA owning guns, I can see why they would jump to the conclusion of an armed conflict being something that would be needed. Until the majority opinions of Americans are acted upon, as being upholded by Democrats (e.g., on Roe vs Wade, elimination of assault weapons from non-military, non-police personnel), then the danger of gun-related violence from the Republican/Trump wing of our country will continue.
