MLB all-star Felipe Vaszquez is now facing potential deportation as well as prison time after being convicted of sexual abuse of children, child pornography, statutory sexual assault in addition to other charges.

As Fox News reports:

Vazquez, who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2016 until his arrest in 2019, was found guilty in a Westmoreland County courtroom on 15 counts, according to ESPN. He was found not guilty on 10 counts of unlawful contact or communication with a minor.

He was initially charged in September 2019 with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person younger in connection with an alleged inappropriate relationship he had with a 13-year-old in 2017 who reached out to him on social media.

In November 2019, he was slammed with 21 additional charges after investigators said they found evidence of child pornography on his phone and laptop in connection to the same case…

Vazquez allegedly met the 13-year-old victim at Pittsburgh’s PNC Park and took pictures with her outside the bullpen. A complaint revealed that at the time of his arrest he told police he had “sex but not really” with the girl in 2017. During the trial, prosecutors showed the jury alleged text messages between the two in which Vazquez called the teen his “slave” in his “possession.”

Vazques will learn his legal fate in the next 90 days, which may very well see him be deported to his native country of Venezeuala.

    1. If all molesters were deported, the crippling effect on the DNC party could be devastating! Same goes for Holly weird!

  3. This guy most likely had issues prior to arriving to play BB in the U.S.. My guess is the recruiters ignored a prior record and brought him in…. In 2017 he was 25 and had relations with a 13 y/o..
Seriously when you are the main star of a baseball team, “pitcher” you have all kinds of wannabe g/f’s available..

  4. Send him back and ban him from returning for life. Sending him back without all his money would be a far better punishment than prison would be. Take everything his time in the majors got him especially the money give some to the victim and the rest to help other victims of sexual abuse.

  5. Not news. Nobody gives a scat about commercial baseball anymore. Same goes for NBA, NFL, Women’s soccer and high school girl’s track. Normal people have been insulted by leftist democrats who have convinced too many that they alone know what’s best for America. I’d guess it’ll take 50 years for the nation to normalize and find peace with the real world.
