A police report has now been filed against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in connection with an allegation from a new accuser who claims that Cuomo physically groped her under her blouse during a meeting at the New York Governor’s mansion.

The Governor’s office itself contacted the police to confirm the incident had occurred.

As Fox News reports:

Police Thursday received word from the governor’s own office that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo may have been involved in an incident that could be a crime. The report was made by the New York State Executive Chamber as a matter of protocol in cases involving physical contact.

The incident allegedly involved a female aide and took place at Cuomo’s executive mansion. The woman herself has not filed a complaint.

The development comes as the governor faces multiple allegations of sexual harassment. On Wednesday, the Albany Times Union reported that a woman said Cuomo aggressively groped her at the mansion.

“As a matter of state policy when allegations of physical contact are made, the agency informs the complainant that they should contact their local police department,” said Beth Garvey, Acting Counsel to the Governor, in a statement provided to Fox News. The agency is the Executive Chamber.

Police have reportedly not yet opened an official investigation but have offered their services to the alleged victim.

It would seem so. We should wait until the fat lady sings, though.

He may be, but the first 5 were basically just creepy behavior; this is criminal if true. Unless the credibility of No. 6 is destroyed, he loses in a he said, she said; the past allegations will make his denials less believable. If enough real people believe her, the heat on the politicians may be too great to resist.

Apparently he’s not that connected now. His fellow Demonrats no longer have his back. They figure they’ll get off cheap if one of their guys is thrown under the bus to keep the rest of them safe. Sacrificing one of their own to protect the rest is part of their herd survival.
