The recent disclosure of an internal FBI document detailing an alleged plot by a Ukrainian businessman to bribe former Vice President Joe Biden has sparked increasing concerns. The efforts of congressional Democrats and the media to spread misinformation about these claims have only contributed to the speculation that there might be some truth to the allegations.

Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) of the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability responded to Ranking Member Jamie Raskin’s (D-Md.) repetition of false statements regarding the FBI’s unclassified FD-1023 form. This form outlines allegations made by an informant, stating that a Burisma executive confessed to bribing Joe Biden with $5 million, and that conversations regarding this were recorded.

Although the document itself is not classified, the FBI has chosen to keep it concealed. It remains unclear whether any evidence exists to support the allegations or even if the alleged recordings are real.

Certain sections of the publicly reported FBI document indicate that the informant is considered highly reliable and trustworthy.

However, despite this, both the media and congressional Democrats have repeatedly falsely asserted that the allegations have been debunked and that there is no ongoing investigation.

That is false, Comer and other officials have revealed that this information is untrue, leading to speculation that some individuals within the Biden administration may possess additional knowledge.

“It doesn’t matter how many times Ranking Member Raskin repeats the lie, it’s still a lie. The information contained in the FBI’s FD-1023 form did not originate with Rudy Giuliani, and as Former Attorney General William Barr has confirmed publicly, the FD-1023 was not closed but rather forwarded to the U.S. Attorney in Delaware for further investigation,” Comer notes.

“In addition, Director Wray himself told Senator Grassley and me directly that the FD-1023 form was related to an ongoing investigation,” Comer adds.

“The Biden bribery record contains serious allegations and the American people deserve answers, transparency, and accountability. The Oversight Committee will continue to follow the facts and ensure accountability for the American people, Comer promised.

Democrats’ lies and deterrents will not distract us from this goal,” Comer added.

  1. Everyone knows Jamie Raskin lies so why does Congress and the Senate tolerate his untruthful protection of lying Biden?
