Then, while en route to a meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, he stumbled over a flag, an incident that was caught on camera and circulated widely. To further complicate matters, President Biden, upon reaching his destination, declined a handshake offered by President Lula da Silva.
This particular refusal appeared to visibly upset the Brazilian leader.
These incidents occurred amidst a backdrop of ongoing concerns and controversies surrounding Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden. Hunter has faced allegations of involvement in shady corruption scandals, which have raised questions about his father’s administration.
Additionally, President Biden’s advanced age, at 80 years old, has become a topic of discussion. His approval ratings have been on the decline, and his frequent on-stage gaffes have become a near-daily occurrence.
As a result, many within the Democratic Party are beginning to express apprehension. They worry that President Biden’s age may render him unfit for the demanding responsibilities of the office, a sentiment that appears to be echoed by a growing number of voters.
