Kari Lake, a former Arizona gubernatorial candidate and staunch supporter of America First, is a leading candidate for Trump’s running mate in the upcoming election. Lake, who has a background as a TV anchor, has shown unwavering support for Trump on various issues. Nevertheless, some in Trump’s inner circle believe that Lake may have her sights set on the presidency and would accept the VP position only as a means to get closer to the Oval Office.

Many people have speculated whether Lake would be a strategic choice for Trump to gain more votes in Arizona, where he allegedly lost by only 0.3% or 10,457 votes out of nearly 3.4 million cast in the 2020 election. In 2022, Lake ran for governor and lost by a similarly narrow margin of 0.5%, losing by a total of approximately 17,000 votes out of about 2.5 million cast. The closeness of her loss has raised suspicions among many.

  1. I love Sarah Huckabee Sanders and think she would be the best Vice President for Trump. She also would make a wonderful president. She is clear thinking and a leader and might be able to steer Trump away from his name calling and settle his attitude down a bit which is why some people don’t like him. He could depend on her to be honest with him.
