Trump’s Advice to Ramaswamy

  • Former President Donald Trump advised GOP rival Vivek Ramaswamy to be careful with his words to avoid becoming controversial.

“He’s starting to get out there a little bit. He’s a little bit — getting a little bit controversial. I’d tell him be a little bit careful. Some things you have to hold in just a little bit, right?” Trump added,  “But he’s got a lot of good energy, and he’s been very nice to me.”

  • Trump praised Ramaswamy as a smart, talented, and energetic individual during an interview with Glenn Beck.
  • During his appearance on Glenn Beck’s show on Tuesday, Donald Trump was questioned about the possibility of him considering Vivek Ramaswamy as a potential pick for Vice President after observing the first Republican presidential debate last week. Trump responded, saying:

“Well, I think he’s great. Look, anybody that said, I’m the best president in a generation. I don’t know, you have to define generation. That’s a long time,” Trump quipped. “He said it a couple of times. And he said it in 100 years. So I have to like a guy like that. You know, I can’t get upset with him.”

Ramaswamy’s Stance on Israel and VP Role

  • Ramaswamy declared he wouldn’t cut aid to Israel unless Israel requested it, amidst questions on his foreign policy.
  • Despite speculation and Trump’s praise, Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and 2024 GOP hopeful, reiterated that he has no interest in becoming Trump’s Vice President – however, he’s currently a candidate on the rise and attempting to make a Presidental push, and this answer may change if Trump finishes on top of the GOP primary.
