Congressman-turned-Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy held nothing back when expressing his exasperation with President Trump following yesterday’s rioting at the Capitol building.
During an interview with Fox News’ Sandra Smith, Gowdy went off when Smith asked him who set the rioters on their march to the floor of the Capitol. (Mediaite)
Smith interjected and asked her guest “Who told them to do that?”
Taken aback, Gowdy exclaimed “Did you listen to the president’s speech yesterday?!”
Smith concurred that she did.
“Then you tell me. Who said that? Who said go fight? Who blamed Mike Pence and blame Republicans and said the election was stolen?” Gowdy asked.
Smith asked Gowdy if he was suggesting the president encouraged his supporters to “invade the capitol” to which the exasperated conservative replied, “So I don’t blame the cops when tens of thousands of people are told an election was stolen from them and then they decide to scale the walls of the people’s house. I don’t blame the cops for that. I blame the people who did it.”

Trey Gowdy should have been that angry with what the left and Democrats have done to obstruct and vilify Trump.
