Never Trump Neocons Love Her
Sometimes the best way to know a politician is up to no good is to look at who is backing them. In Cheney’s case this just happens to be some of the most loathesome Never Trumpers in America (in addition to a good many far-left Democrats).
All honor to Liz Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson. But also to Nancy Pelosi, who overrode normal partisan imperatives to usher Democratic members out of the spotlight and give Cheney and Republican witnesses so central a role. This looks obviously wise now, but wasn't inevitable.
