Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) lost it in a House Oversign Committee hearing after a Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) repeatedly questioned an eco-leftist activist, Raya Salter.
The Daily Wire reports:
“In the four years that I’ve sat on this committee, I have never seen members of Congress, Republican or Democrat, disrespect a witness in the way that I have seen them disrespect you today,” AOC pontificated. “I do not care what party they are in. I’ve never seen anything like that.”
“And for the gentleman of Louisiana, and the comfort that he felt in yelling at you like that,” AOC claimed, “there’s more than one way to get a point across.”
“And, frankly, men who treat women like that in public, I fear how they treat them in private,” she concluded. “We can be better than this. We don’t have to resort to yelling.”
A review of the exchange between Higgins and Salter shows that Salter was louder toward Higgins than he was to her as he repeatedly tried to get her to answer the questions he was asking.
AOC has repeatedly had outbursts in front of Congress, and she regularly shifts the blame – accusing those who disagree with her of being sexist and/or racist. Climate change and AOC’s Green New Deal are emotional topics for her, and on her Twitter, she has repeatedly posted about how pollution and climate change are causing irreversible damage to the world, claiming we only have a few years left to live on Earth.
AOC is so incredibly bizarr, ignorant and quite frankly completely inept that she gives a really bad name to bar keeps and baristas. AOC is so inept she is the only person in the communist democrat pary that could replace the inane, dumber than dirt press secretary and actually sound worse.
I thought in liberal land there were no differences between men and women… so how can AOC claim Rep Higgins did not treat Ms Salter with the respect due a woman? He treated her as expected – she disrespected him by refusing to answer his questions. No disrespect on his part – he treated her like a man. AOC should applaud that equality.

Do they think we don’t watch the congressional hearings? Democrats consistently disrespect, demean and degrade EVERY witness but their OWN.

Does she not remember when Kavanaugh was accused of being a drunk and a rapist by Democrats?
He simply asked her a question. He asked 3 times and 3 times, she refused to answer it. Instead, she ranted about things I have no idea what she was saying. AOC lost her temper? Maybe, she should shut her mouth. Witness should be asked the question, over and over again, until she gives a legitimate answer.

Get an education get a job and shut your face. No one is going to do that for you.Somebody has to remind AOC that her New Green Deal has been soundly defeated in the past and will be defeated again. We-the-people have had enough of paying for the polution of Asia’s giant manufacturing facilities.
