Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer struggled to defend her administration on Wednesday when she was grilled over a scandal involving who was responsible for awarding taxpayer-funded coronavirus relief money to Democrat organizations and operatives.
Whitmer rushed to cancel the contracts on Tuesday after information surfaced online about who the entities were who were going to receive the funds.
When asked during a press conference on Wednesday about who was responsible for selecting the partisan organizations, Whitmer refused to answer and had to repeatedly look down at her notes.
“When it was brought to my attention, I told them to cancel it,” Whitmer claimed. “This was an unnecessary distraction. Leadership is about solving problems. The correct process was not followed.”

I have gone back and forth on term limits, however, one only needs to look at California and what happened to the State after term limits were implemented. The politicians were no longer worried about getting re-elected so they would pass laws that wouldn’t take effect until they were termed out of office and didn’t have to answer for them.
If you look at California before this, you will noticed most of the governor’s were moderate republican’s. After term limits the governors have been all democrats. I am not saying California was “conservative”, but it was far more to the center prior to term limits than after. Just an observation.
Get involved with Convention of the States. The agenda is term limits. We need 3/5 of states to sign on. Getting closer each month to having enough stagnates involved. Google back a few years ago where a bunch of Michigan teachers and principles embezzled thousands of dollars of school funds for their own pockets. They had outside help too. I bet they were Democrats.
