New polling data show President Donald Trump is within striking distance of flipping a blue state, which could completely derail former Vice President Joe Biden’s chances of winning the White House.
Democrats have won Nevada in three straight presidential elections, and in five of the last seven. The only Republican presidential candidate to win Nevada in 30 years was George W. Bush, who squeaked out razor-thin victories thanks to his strength with Hispanic voters.
But Biden’s struggles with Hispanic voters have his campaign worried they could lose the state to Trump, despite Trump’s own weakness with the state’s large Mormon population.
“Democratic Latino pollsters and outside groups have been wary of a rightward lurch in the Silver State,” POLITICO reports. “In September, the Cook Political Report moved Nevada from ‘likely Democrat’ to ‘lean Democrat.’”
Sensing Biden’s weakness the Trump campaign is making an effort to win Nevada, scheduling multiple rallies in the state.
Along with a weaker-than-expected showing with Hispanics, Biden is also being outspent in Nevada.

“Despite his fundraising advantage, Biden is poised to spend $2.3 million on TV in the state between now and Election Day, compared with $3.2 million for Trump, according to media tracker Advertising Analytics. (Trump is spending nothing on Spanish-language in Nevada, compared with $200,000 by Biden.),” POLITICO reports.
Liberal groups are attempting to bail out Biden and stop Trump, scheduling their own ads.
SomosPAC, a Democrat Latino organization, is spending $1 million on Spanish-language TV and radio ads in Nevada supporting Biden.
“The thing about Nevada is that we just haven’t seen as much focus or interest in the state as we saw in 2016,” said Melissa Morales, president of SomosPAC.
Trump lost Nevada in 2016 by just 2.4 percent. His campaign is attempting to make up that gap by appealing to the state’s very large Mormon population, which have been largely turned off by his personal style and stance on immigration. The church is traditionally pro-immigrant and high profile Mormons like Mitt Romney and Jeff Flake have been critical of Trump.
George W. Bush got 80 percent of the Mormon vote in 2004, but Trump got just 64% in 2016. Increasing Trump’s share of the Mormon vote could be enough to flip Nevada blue and hold on to Arizona, which also has a large Mormon population. That would seriously complicate Biden’s plans, which call for him to win both states.

Any American Citizen that votes due to an advertisement, need not vote at all. They are ignorant at best. Oh but we have zillions of $’s to spend on ad’s. I say great for the business side and the employees. But, not one ad will change my mind. No matter how often it is run.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, often called ‘Mormons’, are generally good solid conservative people. Many of them are turned off by Trump’s personal style and by what has been said about his personal life. However, most Mormons are pro-life and believe in the Constitution and in the rule of law which means they support the police, and support legal immigration. It is practically impossible for a Mormon who believes in and follows the tenets of the Church to support the Democrat Party platform. That leaves either not voting or voting for Trump (who has demonstrated he is supportive of the above-mentioned Mormon touch-points).
Why would Trump worry about Nevada? Didn’t Biden State yesterday that he was running for Senate? Slip of the tongue or creeping dementia? No worries….Trump/Pence!!

After the things Pedo Joe has said I can’t see how anyone can vote for him. He says Blacks who don’t support him are not Black and he wants to make the hard work of all who came here LEGALLY WORTHLESS. He does not respect their actions at all. Then there are his LIES on taxes. He states he will do away with the Trump tax cuts which will double taxes on the working poor and middle class. My wife and I make about 24,000 before taxes and Trump cut our taxes in half if not more. To do away with that cut we would lose nearly 300 a month to taxes. That would punish us. Then his wanting that WORTHLESS Obozocare brought back would make that tax increase even worse. She had Obozocare and it was WORTHLESS. It covered NOTHING unless they could sue to get the money back. It was not accepted anywhere even close to where we live. So that would be another Tax on our limited income. I can’t work and can’t get Social Security. So his LIE about not taxing anyone making under $400,000 a MASSIVE LIE.
