Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kareem M. Nikoui, 20, of Norco, California
Nikoui served in his high school’s JROTC and was stationed at Southern California’s Camp Pendleton, which was local enough for him to return home to visit his family on weekends.
His father Steve spoke out about how the White House allowed the death of his son. “I blame my own military leaders. … Biden turned his back on him. That’s it,” Nikoui said. “I’m really disappointed in the way that the president has handled this, even more so the way the military has handled it. The commanders on the ground should have recognized this threat and addressed it.”
The City of Norco mourns the loss of Norco resident and @NorcoHighSchool graduate @USMC Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui, who was killed in action while stationed at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in #Kabul, Afghanistan.
