Meghan McCain blasted CNN for its decision to reinstate the disgraced pervert Jeffrey Toobin months after the latter was caught masturbating in front of co-workers on a zoom call.

“The View” co-host Meghan McCain blasted CNN for rolling the red carpet for its disgraced legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who previously went “on leave” after he was caught masturbating by his New Yorker colleagues on a Zoom call last fall.
CNN stunned social media on Thursday when Toobin appeared on the network for the first time since his indecent exposure. “CNN Newsroom” anchor Alisyn Camerota interviewed her embattled colleague as he answered uncomfortable questions while keeping his hands visibly above the table.

Toobin, who was swiftly fired from The New Yorker last year for his conduct, listened as daytime anchor Alisyn Camerota had the painfully awkward “honors” of describing what happened and its consequences. Toobin was witnessed by colleagues exposing himself and masturbating on a staff Zoom call, leading to widespread ridicule of the veteran journalist.
This isn’t Toobin’s first sex scandal, as he fathered a love child with the daughter of one of his CNN colleagues while he was married back in 2009. Toobin reportedly pressured the woman to have an abortion but she refused.

I applaud The New Yorker for doing the right thing in firing Jeffrey Toobin. CNN is making a serious mistake by excusing and condoning Toobin’s inappropriate public behavior. Toobin’s impregnating a colleague’s daughter while married to someone else and pressuring her to have an abortion is bad enough, but this second infraction should receive a more stringent penalty and mandatory counseling, as any other flasher would. The presumption of privacy applies to his home or a hotel room, but not a Zoom conference meeting or other public venue. Modern-day surveillance cameras are everywhere, and grown adults are expected to conduct themselves with decorum, not pleasuring themselves in public. Pee-wee Herman lost a lucrative gig for doing the same thing in an adult movie theater years ago, and his children’s show and related movie career was rightfully scuttled. Morals clauses require employees to follow the law and company policy, which Toobin violated, and not encourage such crude or lewd behavior in public. I agree with Meghan McCain.
