A new biographical film opening in theaters hails radical billionaire activist George Soros, but the Hollywood filmmaker behind it refuses to say where he got the funding to make it.
The film, titled “Soros,” is opening in 15 theaters nationwide and is directed by Jesse Dylan, the son of musician Bob Dylan. He is mostly known for directing major music videos.
It directly attacks conservative criticisms of the radical leftist billionaire and lavishly praises Soros’ activism.
“The ‘Soros’ movie shows tweets from prominent people like conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza and actor James Woods accusing him of collaborating with Nazis,” Newsweek reports. “Roseanne Barr tweeted that he ‘turned in his fellow Jews 2 be murdered in German concentration camps’ while author Ann Coulter tweeted that he ‘identified Jews to the Nazis.’ But an expert in Soros calls such assertions ‘completely untrue and false and shameful.’”

Dylan, who is on a first-name basis with Soros, says “George is one of the biggest actors for good the world has ever known.”
But Dylan refuses to say who provided the funding for the film.
“In a statement at the film’s website, Dylan said he has known Soros for eight years,” Newsweek reports. “While he doesn’t divulge the source of funding for the film, the access he had to its subject is obvious throughout, including original interviews with Soros and his children and personal photos from as far back as World War II. Archival footage includes interviews of famed Nazis Joseph Goebbels and Albert Speer.”

Heartbreaking to think it, but very likely could be his Dad who fronted the money. He’s got it. There must be more honest ways to support Soros than to take extreme quotes about him and try to show how absurd they are. Soros has plenty of questionable action to answer for without trying to make all Conservatives look stupid in the process. The facts about where he has put his money are out there, and much of it is not pretty. The approach described here sounds like hardcore propaganda, so unfortunately, it will probably be universally praised by the media, not to mention Hollywood.
