Sean Hannity and his longtime wife, Jill Rhodes, are finally making it official.

Years after an amicable split, the pair are officially divorcing, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

Hannity, 58, and former journalist Rhodes, 57, were married in 1993 and have two children, a son, Patrick, and a daughter, Merri Kelly.

Friends of the former couple say they have been legally divorced for more than a year and separated many years prior to that, but kept it under wraps.

However, rumors of a split were floating around prior to the COVID-19 pandemic as Rhodes was not seen at various Fox News events alongside Hannity.

When asked for comment, Hannity and Rhodes issued a joint statement to Page Six, which reads, “Sean and Jill are committed to working together for the best interests of their children. Amicable agreements were entered into over four years ago between Sean and Jill.

According to a family friend, the pair remain close with each others’ families and, especially, their kids. Neither were involved with other people. Sean’s demanding work schedule over the years reportedly took its toll.

Sean once credited Jill as the brains behind his success from fledging radio show host to Fox News’ top television personality. He dedicated his first New York Times’ best-seller “Let Freedom Ring” to her.

  1. Sounds like a healthy, for both of them, move. Divorce is always difficult but can be a learning tool to help in finding yourself. Having divorced in 1984 after living separate for 4 years, I had time to get used to the idea and grow both personally, spiritually and professionally. I also found out that you never find a dime unless you are looking down and am married to the most wonderful man out there after singlehood for 20 years. God Bless you both on this journey.

  2. MSM will spin it! But the truth is Im not sure who work more and harder President Trump or Sean! That will take atoll on your private life.
    God Bless

  3. This is sad. I remember Sean talking about his love for his wife for all those years on radio. I guess the inevitable happened. I also wondered for the last few years about his friendship with Miss Carter, a frequent guest on his FNC show. She almost always traveled around the world with him. I swear I caught the twinkle in her eyes when she was with him. Maybe I am wrong. But what is the most common thing men do when they split from their wives of many years? They immediately go out and buy a new car or hurry up and get in the fitness program. Sean when with mixed martial arts, which I think he brags about way too much. I hope they somehow find happiness in their lives.

  4. even though we see certain people on tv and are faithful watchers…we all know that they have private lives the same as the rest of us….they deserve their privacy.

  5. Well, we now know that he is not a Christian. Not that he ever claimed to be one. Why is it that the powers of this world refuse to believe that Christians are good people. And they continue to support and defend the immoral and unethical actions of seculars.

    1. What does “being a good Christian”, have to do with two people choosing to make amicable changes in their private lives? There’s no screaming about infidelity, etc., so this looks to be
well within established Christian tenets. One thing that is taught in Christianity, and …………by Jesus himself, and that is not to throw stones, when one lives in a glass house.
