The 1:00pm ET hearing on Monday will be the final report of the Jan. 6th committee. Of course, the committee is trying to answer one of the only valuable questions during the entire process, and they intend to do so at the very last second.
Now, nearly two years removed from a roudy protest outside of the capital, the Jan. 6th committee will finally seek to make an argument for Donald Trump’s involvement during the protest. Regarding the question as to whether the final proceeding of the Jan. 6th hearings will include new evidence, Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) said, “It could be evidence that we have not shared in the hearings. It could very well be.”
This potential evidence could be what the Jan. 6th committee bases their decision on when considering whether or not to send a criminal referral about Trump to the DOJ.
Axios reports that Thompson also said the committee is looking at “five or six” categories of referrals, which may include everything from the Department of Justice to the Federal Election Commission to the House Ethics Committee.
Is this going to be like the same “Cold Hard Evidence” Schiffhole said he had, that never materialized?
