A group of GOP lawmakers want progressive Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) off of her House committee assignments, as an amendment to a measure Democrats are considering, to strip beleaguered Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) from her seats on two committees.
Here’s how this all started:
Ms Ilhan Omar should have been removed from her committee assignments a long, long time ago!!! She should also be forced to resign from the political scene. Then her constituents can vote in a much, much better choice to represent them!!!

She definitely should not be a member of Congress. However, I strongly disagree that she be “forced to resign.” It is up to the voters, not to political enemies. I find her comments egregious as an American and as a Jew. But I love the Constitution and what the “American Way” used to be. Small seemingly righteous victories can cost us the bigger and more important outcome.
