While most people have no reaction to the vaccine, 10 to 15% experienced “significantly noticeable” side effects that include redness and pain at the injection site, along with fever, chills, muscle pain, and headaches for up to a day and a half after receiving the shot. Both Pfizer and Moderna reported that the symptoms induced by inoculation were similar to those of a mild case of Covid-19.
