House Democrats are hosting a masterclass in partisanship today — excuse me, allow me to rephrase — the House of Representatives is holding an oversight hearing today on the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

We all know Democrats are salivating at the chance to score cheap shots at President Trump over the latest issue du jour: the handling of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak. But in their zest to hold today’s hearing they left out a critical detail about their star witness.

So, who do Democrats have lined up? Well, Dr. Tom Freiden, former Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who also pleaded guilty in a sexual abuse case back in June of 2019. Former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Tom Frieden avoided jail time on Tuesday after pleading guilty to groping a longtime family friend in New York.
Frieden, who is also the former New York City health comissioner, turned himself in to police in August 2018 after the woman reported that he had grabbed her butt without her permission inside his Brooklyn apartment, court documents said.
By pleading guilty, Frieden wasn’t required to explain what happened during the October 2017 incident to Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Edwin Novillo. Frieden was facing up to a year in jail for misdemeanor forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse and second-degree harassment charges, prosecutors said.

Ike, One of our best Republican Presidents, was never accused of infidelity to Mamie during his Presidency, but it is widely known that he had a mistress when he served as Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during World War II. President Trump has never been proven to have been unfaithful to his wives, but he probably paid his sex partners for their silence. Curiously, Most of the recent Presidents who were not accused of infidelity were mediocre Presidents. Carter and Obama are a great examples. Nixon and G. W. Bush are good examples on the Republican side.
