The Kenosha police officers involved in the highly controversial shooting of Jacob Blake were attempting to arrest him for violating a restraining order following charges of sexual assault.

Blake, 29, was forbidden from going to the Kenosha home of his alleged victim from the May 3 incident, and police were dispatched Sunday following a 911 call saying he was there. The officers were aware he had an open warrant, according to dispatch records, though it’s not clear if they knew the specific allegations of violence.

Blake, who was paralyzed in the shooting, had been handcuffed to his hospital bed due to the warrant, which was vacated Friday, according to a statement released by his lawyer, Benjamin Crump. His restraints were removed, but he is still facing the criminal charges, Crump said.

Blake is accused in the criminal complaint, which was obtained by The Post, of breaking into the home of a woman he knew and sexually assaulting her.

The victim, who is only identified by her initials in the paperwork, told police she was asleep in bed with one of her children when Blake came into the room around 6 a.m. and allegedly said “I want my sh-t,” the record states.

According to the complaint he allegedly assaulted her with his finger and claimed that it “smells like you’ve been with other men.”

  1. People, we need to get rid of a$$hole cops but this isn’t the way. There are more good cops than a$$hole cops.

  2. Now the bottom line is, if you do not follow an officers commands , he has a right to kill you. ONLY IN AMERICA.

    1. Actually that is the case in large number of countries, probably most. However, most do not have the restrictions on it the US has.

        1. Kathleen, are you an idiot or what? You must be aware that in most of these cases where either officers (or more often, perps PRETENDING to be officers) to the above, they are black men doing this stuff. Moreover, it’s SO rarely down, you can’t even compare the liklihood of this happening to the more OFTEN cae of black males sexually assaulting females of all races, can you?

      1. He was repeatedly told to stop by officers, was threatening someone he sexually assaulted, had refused a court order, had previous felonies, was tazed and kept going, probably had a long history of NEVER obeying authority and we won’t even go into his school records which probably document this type of attitude since age 5 or 6. I’ll tell you what, why don’t you take him into YOUR home with an ankle bracelet if you want him out, okay? You seek so-called justice for a reprobate, lady!

      2. Ahh…but his weapon holds 15! I’d say he showed restraint by not shooting that piece of sh!t another 8 times.

    2. When you fight back and have a weapon! Why do you mf’ers keep that out of your complaint! Because you are ignorant as hell that’s why. If half of these idiots used that gray matter most would be alive. But, for some reason they just cannot comprehend what RESISTING means.

  3. Because HE is a scumbag criminal, a democrat POS that deserves what he got! He should be arrested and tried on the felony charges, plus he should be charged with all crimes that take place I. Kenosha as a result of his actions!

  4. Wish he was looking for his sh*t at some of the DA’s houses!!??
Let him give them the finger and see how they feel about his situation!!!

  5. A man with a sexually assault, had refused a court order, had previous felonies, was tazed and kept going. One of the stories is he was reaching for a knife. We may never know the truth of what really happened? It is easy to second guess now. Seven times in the back seems a lot, but unless you are in the moment in time. How do you know how you would react, respond. To shoot someone 7 times in the back, seems wrong, it is wrong. When we sit here now, after the fact and think 1 or 2 shots most likely would have been enough. In hindsight we can second guess this all day. I think the question is how do we get past black man versus police. Can we get to the root of why, how come, this happened. Is there something we can do, training, education, to make sure is does not happen again. We learn from the past, our mistakes. Let’s make sure we learn all we can from this.
