The political betting markets are now showing that former President Trump is no longer the Republican with the best odds of winning the Presidency in 2024.
As MSN reports:
DeSantis, who is long believed to be the main frontrunner alongside Trump for the next GOP presidential nomination, is currently listed as having a 23.26 percent chance of winning the next election, with Trump second place at 20.41 percent, according to odds on the Smarkets betting exchange.
Smarkets has listed DeSantis as the current favorite to be the next U.S. president, also ahead of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, since the start of August.

However, Trump’s chances of returning to the White House dropped by more than 1.3 percent after details surrounding the raid at his Mar-a-Lago resort emerged.
The FBI conducted the raid as part of an ongoing investigation into Trump’s potentially unlawful removal and destruction of White House records after he left office in January 2021.
DeSantis lead over Trump is currently its highest level since the betting market for 2024 contenders was opened.

I sincerely hope that DeSantis doesn’t try to run for the Presidency for loyalty reasons, proving he is the man we like to think that he is, and that President Trump then choses him to be his Vice-Presidential running mate, so after Trump’s last year in office, DeSantis will be his heir apparent and replacement, after helping Trump to “Make America Great Again”, he will have the learning and experience in how to run the federal government to the benefit of the American people, and not for special interests.

This is BS – the FBI was already allowed to freely inspect all of Trumps records back in February and did so. Now they seize them and also take any personal gifts he received while in office?

I think DeSantis would make a great president, but let’s get Trump in in 2024, then get DeSantis in for eight more. With 12 years of strong leadership, we might almost get this country back on its feet after all the damage done by the Democrats.
Even IF this poll was correct at the time it was taken, the FBI has just negated it and assured Trumps reelection.
