Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent law enforcement members in to depose an ultra-woke prosecutor Andrew Warren, who had previously been backed by George Soros, this week.

As The Daily Wire reports:

“State Attorneys have a duty to prosecute crimes as defined in Florida law, not to pick and choose which laws to enforce based on his personal agenda,” DeSantis said in a statement. “It is my duty to hold Florida’s elected officials to the highest standards for the people of Florida. I have the utmost trust that Judge Susan Lopez will lead the office through this transition and faithfully uphold the rule of law.”

In the Executive Order suspending Warren from office, DeSantis ordered, “As of the signing of this Executive Order, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by other law enforcement agencies as necessary, is requested to: (i) assist in the immediate transition of Andrew Warren from the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida, with access only to retrieve his personal belongings; and (ii) ensure that no files, papers, documents, notes, records, computers, or removable storage media are removed from the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida by Andrew Warren or any of his staff.”

When asked during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson about why he issued the Executive Order, DeSantis said that “Soros prosecutors around the country” have “basically take it upon themselves to determine which laws should be followed, and which laws should not be followed.”

DeSantis, who noted that he has the state constitutional authority to remove prosecutors from office if they are not doing their jobs, said that he had his staff review all state attorneys and that’s when they discovered the issues with Warren.

DeSantis’s move against Warren has so far been the most drastic action taken by a Republican executive against Soros-linked prosecutors.

  2. Everyone is expected to stop on a red light and only proceed on a green light. When an official doesn’t obey the laws as we ordinary people are expected to do, then chaos will ensue. Thank you Gov. DeSantis for being Florida’s traffic cop. Now, maybe sanity will continue to emerge in Florida.

  3. WAY to go and we need a lot more like him with B—- to continue to lock him up. I only wish i was 20 years younger to help go after these IDIOTS who are Ruining our country.

  4. I hope many other Republican governors are observing very closely and will be Copy Cats. It’s time to stop playing coward with these prosecutors and fire them if they aren’t following the law they swore to uphold. The governors do what needs to be done or “we the people” will do what needs to be done when their next election comes up.

  5. FINALLY! Praise God, a man with guts to fight back with authority against this terrible enemy within. All Conservative Republican Governors should do the same, govern with all that is within their power, for the sake of all citizens within their states, which will help heal this country of ours from the leftist communist control.
