The Indiana legislature has now moved to ban biological males from competing in female sports, overriding a previous veto of the bill which was issued by Republican Governor Eric Holcomb.
As The Daily Caller reports:
HEA 1041, set to go into effect July 1, requires public schools designate sports categories by sex and the genetics of the athletes. Holcomb originally vetoed HEA 1041 in March 2022, arguing at the time that the bill did not offer “one consistent state policy regarding the fairness in K-12 sports in Indiana.”

The Indiana House voted to override the veto 67-28, while the Indiana Senate voted to override the veto 32-15.
“I think it’s trying to keep the focus on female sports and fair competition with sports,” Republican state Rep. Michelle Davis, the author of the bill, said in January. “That’s what I feel the target of the bill is.”
The law will additionally require private schools that participate in competitions with public schools to follow the legislation. Schools will not be subject to liability in cases of civil, administrative, disciplinary or criminal action for complying with the legislation.
Holcomb has not yet commented on the major legislative defeat.

Let’s hope it’s the end of Eric Holcomb, too. His veto regarding a matter of this importance indicates an inability to think properly about a lot of things.

Good! This protects our girls and women from “ fake females” beating them in sports. Now pass a law that keeps transgender “ females” out of the girls’ locker Rooms and bathrooms. If need be, have transgender locker rooms and bath rooms.

What is the matter with Holcomb, is he a libnut? Boys are boys and girls are girls and boys should not be competing against girls in sports.
NCAA headquarters office is in Indianapolis. The governor is apparently more afraid of them than his own voters. Yeah, I know the NCAA is for college level sports, but they want transgenders playing on girls teams in high school too.
This should be nation wide, but I guess it has to start somewhere. This RINO has got to be voted out of office by a real republican. Time to put the flame to the foot of all politicians.
I am sick and tired. Girls should compete with girls and boys should compete with boys!
