Karey Burke, a top executive at Disney, announced the company’s intention of drastically increasing the amount of LGBT characters in its films and productions in the coming years in order to increase ‘inclusivity’ and fight discrimination.
As The New York Post reports:
A Disney executive has vowed to drastically increase inclusivity in its productions, promising that at least 50 percent of its characters will be LGBTQ or racial minorities by the end of the year.

“I’m here as a mother of two queer children, actually,” Burke said on the call. “One transgender child and one pansexual child, and also as a leader.”
Burke said she supports featuring “many, many” characters who are LGBTQIA, which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning), intersex, and asexual (or allies).
By the end of the year, Burke said she wants at least half of the entertainment giant’s characters to be LGBTQIA or racial minorities.
The new LGBT push by Disney comes as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis passed HB 1557, a new bill that seeks to protect young children from radical gender ideology.
For the life of me I don’t get this. Most watching Disney are very young. I understand more minority representation but most kids watching these don’t understand the gender/sexual crap. Gone wwaaayyy to far now!

Regardless of what Disney Studios say, everybody is going to encounter gays, lesbians, and transgender people sometime in their lifetime simply because different sexual orientations will always exist. Sexual orientations different from the that of the majority is not something that should be hidden like it was when I was a kid and knew nothing about this kind of stuff.
Personally I think Disney is making a big mistake
