Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) laid into President Biden during an appearance on ‘Fox and Friends’ on Tuesday over what he claims is Biden’s inability to stand up to his own party over crucial energy issues.
As Fox News reports:
REP. JIM JORDAN: I sat in a hearing a few months ago where Ro Khanna, a Democrat member from California — the state that’s now got a $7 gas. He had the oil and gas executives there in front of them, and he badgered every one of them, asking them one simple question: Will you pledge to decrease production this year? I mean, the Democrats want $7 gas. So that is the biggest problem.
What that means to middle class families, how that hurts our economy, how that drives up the price of everything because you got – it takes fuel to move goods around the country. So it’s complete craziness, but that’s where the left is today. And unfortunately, they have complete control of the Democrat Party and Joe Biden, I think, is afraid to stand up to them. That’s why he’s talking to Saudi Arabia and Venezuela and Iran, for goodness sake.

Biden is puffing out his chest over “banning” Russian oil today but it is all posturing. Russia can sell us oil through a third party and Biden would aid that deception any day of the week. Russia could sell oil to Iran and they could sell it to us. The Russians could “sell” it to Venezuela and they could broker it to us. He controls all of the federal agencies that would be involved.
Russian oil is very dirty, low-grade crap, and Venezuelan oil is even dirtier. Both cost more to refine and pollute much more. We need American oil and should demand to have it. Biden and the left’s lies about pollution as a reason to halt American production is pure bullshit.
We need to make this a major issue before the election. The democrats will blink if enough outrage over Biden forcing America to buy oil from its avowed enemies builds.
