J.K. Rowling took aim at a new bill that would allow children as young as 16 to legally change their gender.
As The Daily Wire reports:
The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, introduced a Gender Recognition Reform Bill that allows a trans person to legally change their gender and receive a new birth certificate with their gender on it through easier means than before, reported Variety in a piece published Tuesday.
“The law Nicola Sturgeon’s trying to pass in Scotland will harm the most vulnerable women in society: those seeking help after male violence/rape and incarcerated women,” the 56-year-old author of the “Harry Potter” franchise tweeted to her 13.9 million followers.
Exactly this. The law @NicolaSturgeon's trying to pass in Scotland will harm the most vulnerable women in society: those seeking help after male violence/rape and incarcerated women. Statistics show that imprisoned women are already far more likely to have been previously abused. https://t.co/LPN8cx1Vf4

Rowling, who has often been the target of trans-rights activists because of her unwavering defense of biological women’s rights and protections, went on to note that the women who were already most at-risk would be further damaged if that bill were to pass.
“Statistics show that imprisoned women are already far more likely to have been previously abused,” she added.
Rowling has now been ‘canceled’ repeated on social media over her refusal to give into far-left narratives pushed by trans activists.
