Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton is blaming liberal billionaire George Soros for an explosion of violent crime and anti-police rhetoric saying Soros’ bankrolling of radical leftist prosecutors “destroyed the criminal justice system in America.”
The New York Post reports Bratton, appearing on the John Catsimatidis radio show program, singled out newly-elected Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s policy of refusing to prosecute many crimes as an example of Soros’ dangerous agenda.
The “Color Of Change” PAC that helped elect Bragg was funded by a $1 million donation from Soros.
“You don’t address the issues of the past by effectively decriminalizing just about everything in New York City,” said Bratton. “The DA is effectively handcuffing the police.”
According to Bratton liberals like Soros and Bragg are “basically saying they don’t have any confidence in the police force. They don’t trust them. They are effectively removing so many tools out of the toolbox … that we know kept New York safe for the last 30 years.”
Bratton directly blamed Soros for an explosion of crime in New York, Los Angeles and other major cities.
“If you look at every city in America that has violent crime increases and disorder increases…what is the one common denominator?” said Bratton. “District attorneys, almost all of whom are funded phenomenally by George Soros.”
“Soros and his people have people have figured out how to basically gerrymander the system,” said Bratton, adding that Soros “effectively destroyed the criminal justice system in America.”

If the PEOPLE hanged the DAs and AGs Soros has put into power (BTW: they deserve to be hanged) I would guess that others would NOT want to become the next tree ornament and therefore, not accept Soros’ money or his demands.
