OPINION – There is probably no better way to kill of the iconic James Bond brand than to make the uber masculine 007 so confused about who he is that he is sexually non-binary. And yet, a leading producer of the Bond franchise is suggesting this gender-bending insanity might be in the offing.
This announcement comes as Daniel Craig will officially close out his run as the famous spy with the latest film: “No Time To Die.”
Producer Barbara Broccoli has noted that the search for Craig’s replacement will not begin until at least 2022, with no clear front runner emerging at the moment outside of fan speculation.
Broccoli did confirm in a recent podcast that the next 007 won’t be a woman, something Craig agrees should not happen. “Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?” he told Radio Times in an interview.
However, Broccoli said in the same podcast that the character could identify as ‘non-binary.’
Non-binary is defined as someone who doesn’t identify as being male or female, usually choosing to go by “they” or “them” pronouns. Because, you know — there are more than one in there…
Confusingly, Broccoli said, “I don’t think that we should be making films where women are playing men,” but when asked by the host – “Non-binary, perhaps, maybe one day?”
Broccoli replied. “Who knows? I mean, I think it’s open. We just have to find the right actor.”
So, in her bizarre logic, a woman can’t play a man’s role, but a confused non-binary, either-or person can?
If so, I foresee a quick death for both the sexually confused, non-binary Bond and the entire 007 franchise. That gender insanity would be too much even for Britain’s super spy to handle, much less his fans.

I would never watch another Bond film if you cast a “non binary” Bond or a female as Bond. (I am a female). Let men be men. Keep the franchise going.
