With the “Omicron” variant being introduced, it could mean more leftist leaders are looking to continue or expand the lockdowns, with cities and states already renewing restrictions, including mask and jab mandates, as well as shuttering certain businesses. This could be on the horizon in even larger measure come 2022. Mint writes, “Even a three-month return to the toughest 2021 restrictions — countries like the U.K. have already moved in that direction — could see 2022 growth slow to 4.2%.”
