Joe Biden is now under fire from animal rights group and other observers for what appears to be his administration’s decision to abandon US military service dogs in Afghanistan, likely dooming them to certain death.
As The Daily Wire reports:
Animal rights group American Humane has blasted the Biden administration for allegedly leaving U.S. Military contract dogs in Afghanistan, effectively handing down a “death sentence” to the animals.
Dr. Robin R. Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane, released a statement Monday condemning the apparent decision to leave the animals behind.
The Biden administration didn’t just abandon Americans in Afghanistan. They even abandoned hard-working service dogs!!! WTF

“I am devastated by reports that the American government is pulling out of Kabul and leaving behind brave U.S. military contract working dogs to be tortured and killed at the hand of our enemies,” Ganzert said. “These brave dogs do the same dangerous, lifesaving work as our military working dogs, and deserved a far better fate than the one to which they have been condemned.”
The CEO said the organization is ready to help these animals escape their fate of death.
I thought the defining image of the abject American surrender was of them fleeing Kabul in a Chinook, but I was wrong. This one, of them having fled and abandoned their service dogs will forever remain etched in memory.

I can’t believe any soldier would leave his service dog behind….I’ve seen so many heart rendering videos of the loyalty and special relationships between military men and their canine companions….how did this happen? I have read that there was room on the plane for them??? But it seems that my prayers have been answered and wonderful people are stepping up to rescue them….thank you, thank you and bless you …..
Also…not to diminish the fact that there are also people who need to be rescued….but this was just an added heartache to this dismal situation….

I don’t think it was the soldier’s choice. They probably were ordered to place the dogs in crates for transport. They were ‘told’ that the dogs were going to be put on planes and that was that. When you are in the service you do what you are told or face court marshall.
I blame whoever told them that the dogs would be put on planes!
There’s the matter of diseases dog’s acquire in those regions, and how much weight would be factored into that particular load. The animals would need to be quarantined, and watched for whatever amount of time to verify their health. Moving cargo of any type overseas is a complex undertaking. When humans are thrown aboard aircraft for evacuations, that load aspect has priority over any other concerns. Numb Nuts wanted to show his acolytes that he was peace brokering (I still think that A’hole will get us into Iran) but his methods are indicative of his culpable ignorance and senility.

Years ago I had a subcontractor who would not work for anyone who did not like dogs. He had his shepherd in his truck at all times. He told me that hr just did not trust anyone who did not like dogs. His truck was never loose to bother anynone. Well, I agree with hm. Look at these EVIL people who have totally put us at risk and care destroying our country. The fact is so many stories but almost no actual proof of any of it, Now when Nam fell I do not believe any dogs were rescued they were left for food, not intentionally for food but the animal is of least importance when it is a human life or the dogs life. So many religious would leave the Afghan Muslim and bring the dogs, just shows where their hearts are when it comes to Muslims.
There is also the stories of mass execution which no other news agency in the World has reported in any way and then there was the photo shopping of different things that actually never happened.

I am an animal lover, and it is concerning to me that Numb Nuts will disregard the welfare of these dogs. Whether it’s a political issue is the question. In any case, he is demonstrating a rather callous nature which is indicative of his personality. He’s basically a sociopath, and those people are not fit to occupy a position where their judgments affect human or animal lives.
As a former dog handler in the US Army I trained with Topper a wonderful animal with amazing skills as a sentry guard dog and scouting dog.He could sniff out an unseen intruder 400 yards away. Most of the military dog can do similar. I was very fond of that fine animal. To leave these service animals to the wrath of the enemy is unforgivable.
I’m trying to copy the military man and especially our mililtary srvice dog, a german shepherd. These dogs work hard but enjoy saving and protecting their masters.
