The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was forced unceremoniously cancel one of its high profile speakers with less than a week to go before their 2021 conference in Orlando, Florida.

CPAC canceled the appearance of conservative commentators and hip-hop artist “Young Pharaoh” after his past shocking posts to social media surfaced in which he repeatedly made unhinged and anti-semitic comments.

As USA Today reports:

“We have just learned that someone we invited to CPAC has expressed reprehensible views that have no home with our conference or our organization,” said a tweeted statement from organizers of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. “The individual will not be participating at our conference.”

The speaker in question is identified as Young Pharaoh, a hip-hop artist and online commentator who has dabbled in conspiracy theories.

CPAC acted after Media Matters for America, a research organization that tracks conservative outlets, reported that, among other things, Young Pharaoh “has told followers that Judaism is a ‘complete lie’ and ‘made up for political gain,'” and that “Jewish people are ‘thieving fake Jews.'”

Somewhat ironically, the theme for this year’s CPAC is “America Uncanceled.”

  1. We have to be careful. Although we definitely stand for freedom of speech, we cannot align ourselves with those who hold views that are so far wrong and against our conservative values.

        1. You don’t want to censor anyone unless they are promoting violence. Let Nasty talk, she can do more damage than good. Just make sure to accurately highlight the garbage she spews out.

    1. Why not reach out to him before cancelling him to see if he still feels that way or if maybe he has remorse and would be willing to address this issue in his speech. Sometimes people are influenced to think certain things before they are mentally mature enough to come to the conclusion that what theyve been told is reprehensible.

  2. Hip-Hop should have been a clue. Any so called music that denigrates another group, ethnicity, occupation, gender or belief is fertile ground for this kind of bigotry. Attempting to be diverse by pandering to this kind of entertainment expression is a misadventure.

    1. While I agree with the last sentence of your comment, I disagree that all hiphop should be avoided like poison. There are artists out there that have real stories to tell through their music that dont fit in the same mainstream snoop dog hiphop category. I dont like hiphop really but im not about to do blanket label every hiphop artist.

  3. The enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend. Do some homework on people you invite to speak at your conference, especially in this day and age. I am 100% for free speech but that does not make it mandatory that you get to speak at any conference you want, if they did I bet Rump would have shown up to the Democrat convention, right?

  4. They did the right thing. CPAC speakers should discuss conservative issues and not just anything that is detrimental of opposite it. Conservative Jews and Israel are part of us. We are founded on Judaeo-Christians ideals and believe in the whole Bible. Good call.

    1. Judaism & Christianity are contradictory bodies of belief and must not be conjoined.

Modern Christians are furthering the myth of a Judeo-Christian tradition.
The Church Fathers knew of no Judeo-Christian tradition since Judaism as we know it today did not exist before Christ.

  5. Every speaker should be well vetted as a conservative before giving them an invitation to stand on the Conservative stage. No doubt the leftists would have loved to have this jerk speak and the damage he would create to the voice of conservatism.

  6. Well, who would have ever imagined? Rule number one if you ever consider being in the public eye, never say anything unflattering about a “protected class”. Pick on the Southern white boy, he is fair game.

    1. You dont have to be an asshole bigot to disagree publicly with a demographic, racial or otherwise. It would be no more right for him to have disparaged and insulted white people than it to do it to jews.

      1. It may not be “no more right”, but it sure would be far safer and draw far less attention. In fact, it seems to be getting accolades from the political worlds establishment, the media and the “entertainment“ industry. To the consternation of the lessers, the white boy just sloughs it off.

  7. Why was he invited? I don’t know him. I don’t tend to ask rhetorical questions, and I’m wondering what he had to tell us. Were the CPAC programmers trying to take a shortcut to hip, or did he really have something substantive that we are being distracted from.

  8. So much for freedom of speech. Of course, they do not like to listen to alternative views to open up a dialogue. Cancel, cancel, cancel is all they know; especially if you do not agree with them.

  9. Just another Jew Hating Black Man with no foundation or fact for his statement. They just love to hate and blame Jews for everything and never state all of the remarkable inventing and discovery by Jewish People for every human being on earth to benefit by their work. The Blacks in America are hand in hand with the Muslim when it comes to hating Jews.
