One of the Antifa militants arrested in Washington, D.C. for assaulting Trump supporters in post-election violence is a registered sex offender. He is the latest in a string of violent Antifa radicals with a history of sexual abuse.
“The Metropolitan Police Department arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Wayne Deberry on Saturday for disorderly conduct, including inciting violence, aggravated assault, and felon in possession of a firearm after police found he was carrying a handgun, according to an MPD press release,” The Daily Caller reports.
“According to the MPD Sex Offender Registry, Deberry is a registered sex offender who was convicted in Washington, D.C. in 2008 of second-degree child sexual abuse against a person under 16 years of age,” The Daily Caller reports.
He’s hardly the first. One of the Antifa radicals who attempted to assault Trump supporter Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Minnesota was convicted of sexually assaulting a child.
Joseph Rosenbaum, who was shot and killed after attempting to assault Rittenhouse, was a convicted sex offender, according to the fact-checking website Snopes.

(Yes, Rosenbaum was found guilty of engaging in “sexual conduct with a minor” in Arizona’s Pima County in March 2002, almost two decades before his death, according to an online database of prison inmates in Arizona, via the state’s department of corrections. Per that online portal, he was sentenced to prison or parole for roughly 15 years. The state’s law defines the felony offense as “intentionally or knowingly engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact with any person who is under eighteen (18) years of age,” though we could not confirm the details of Rosenbaum’s case. We requested copies of probable-cause statements from the Pima County Superior Court’s Office, and we will update this report when or if we hear back.
Considering that evidence, the claim that Rosenbaum at one point was convicted of sexually abusing at least one child before his death was true.

“A convicted child rapist was charged with felony assault stemming from violence at an Antifa and left-wing protest in Olympia, Wash…Shaelyn A. Reed, 20, of Olympia, is accused of striking a man on the head with a baton in front of Olympia City Hall,” the Post Millennial reports. “This isn’t Reed’s first run-in with the law. In 2017, Reed pleaded guilty to second-degree rape of a child. He is a registered sex offender in Thurston County, Wash.”
