In an appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Senator Ted Cruz sounded the alarm that the Republican Party must go on high alert if it’s too avoid not merely a Trump defeat but an electoral bloodbath of Watergate proportions.

While conservatives have good reason to view polls with some level of skepticism, they consistently show seniors (a typically reliable GOP voting bloc) moving away from the president.
At first glance, the reason appears to be over Trump’s style rather than substance.
Gallup: 56% say they’re better off than they were four years ago, and Trump leads Biden 49/46 on the “I agree with him on issues” metric. But Trump tumbles eight net points on the question of “presidential qualities.” That’s the ballgame right now. *He* is why he’s trailing.

“I am worried. It’s volatile, it’s highly volatile … if people are going back to work, if they’re optimistic, if they’re positive about the future, we could see a fantastic election — the president getting reelected with a big margin, Republicans winning both Houses of Congress and I think that’s a real possibility,” Cruz said.
“But I also think if on Election Day people are angry and they’ve given up hope and they’re depressed, which is what [Speaker Nancy] Pelosi and [Senate Minority Leader Charles] Schumer want them to be, I think it could be a terrible election. I think we could lose the White House and both houses of Congress, that it could be a bloodbath of Watergate proportions.”
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has opened up a 9.7-point lead over Trump in the RealClearPolitics average of polls, his largest lead in months.
Biden has also opened up healthy leads in key battleground states, including Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and the president is polling weaker than expected in states that weren’t expected to be in play, such as Ohio, Iowa and Georgia.
Whether or not the silent majority still exists or not will become apparent soon enough. Meantime, Cruz’s concerns, now public, show that the president’s top allies are determined to motivate all of his supporters.

All the media covered was Pelosi tearing up her copy of that speech, when people needed information about the corona virus, it was all lost because of Pelosi’s theatrics, that was the news. Luckily we watched Fox daily briefings while abc, cbs, nbc did not show much regarding the corona virus

Today most people do not know that mid May 2020, each governor used data from Washington for their state to make county by county decisions on the Corona Virus and rules for businesses and people to minimize all infections while reopening businesses per county and for citizens on a county by county level.
We had mass tests, in our car by appointments by Internet and results by Internet as well.
In Florida people followed the rules, but Spring Break 17-26 year olds did not, neither did 190 flights from the 2 NYC airports during a lockdown in New York traveled to airports, check in, TSA, food at Airports and reversed flying to Florida, many died in southern Florida, counties around Miami Miami Beach, And others never reopened while other counties were opening in stages, halted if increase of infections, then restart at beginning.
Food for thought, we are a very Moble Society, we should expect to see more infections because of this.
But where we are almost every non essential stores including haircuts were closed for two months or more, people today are more careful today that at the start, we made the change to save lives maybe our own. But still there are people who think they are immune, the younger generation may not look sick, that is why they may be the people who infectious may infect many others
