U.S. Army via Wikimedia CommonsArmy Specialist Vanessa Guillén, 20, went missing from Fort Hood, Texas on April 22. Her dismembered body was finally discovered along the Leon River on June 30. Guillén was bludgeoned to death with a hammer inside an armory building by fellow soldier Aaron Robinson, who smuggled her body out of the base, before dismembering and burying it along the river with the help of his girlfriend. Robinson killed himself on July 1 as authorities were attempting to apprehend him.
