Help President Trump Stop Joe Biden [ACT NOW]
OPINION – We can all agree or disagree on some of the president’s actions, words, and personality. Some insist that the presidency and this election is all about “character” and integrity. And without a doubt, those factors do matter.
Sadly, every candidate for office has flaws, including the two running for president now.
However, in the absence of another Ronald Reagan, to me, elections are always about the lesser evil. We will never have the perfect candidate. But we can have the best one.
While some bemoan President Trump’s tweets or behavior, I prefer to focus on policy and results. Specifically, national security policy. And in that regard President Trump should be the clear choice for any U.S. citizen truly concerned about protecting America and keeping it strong in an increasingly dangerous and unstable world.
Most significantly, Trump is effectively countering the greatest existential threat to the U.S. today and for the next coming decades – China. The Chinese communist regime is hell-bent on pushing the U.S. out of Asia in the next decade, and fully displacing the U.S. as the world’s superpower by 2049 – the 100th anniversary of China’s communist revolution.
The Chinese are building warships, combat aircraft, ballistic and cruise missiles, and other modern weapons at a furious pace, already creating a navy larger than America’s. They plan to double their nuclear arsenal in ten years.
They are also producing bleeding edge hypersonic missiles, robotics, an alternate GPS system, have established a presence on the moon, and are threatening U.S. allies and freedom of the seas in the Pacific.
China also has the most massive espionage effort in world history, dwarfing the Soviet spy machine in the U.S. and allied countries during the Cold War. Much of their technological and military growth has come at our expense from hundreds of billions of dollars in stolen intellectual property and defense secrets.
Trump is the first and only president in decades to face the expansionist, menacing totalitarian communist Chinese regime head-on. Initially focused on trade and economics, China’s Wuhan Coronavirus shifted the battle to include the geopolitical, technological, espionage, military, and subversion fronts.
And on all these fronts President Trump has thankfully taken the fight to the Chinese regime and has begun a long-term strategy to contain China and impede its march to world dominance.
Beginning with technology, subversion, and espionage, the president has systematically gone after China’s massive spy network in the U.S., closing their ‘spy hub’ consulates, arresting spies, and shutting down “Confucius Centers” at U.S. universities. He has also uncovered and is going after Chinese influence and money links to major educational and other U.S. institutions.
The president has also aggressively challenged China’s insidious efforts to infiltrate compromising technology into the U.S. and allied communications infrastructure, such as with Huawei and 5G.
Under Trump, the Pentagon’s shift to the Pacific has accelerated at a mighty clip. The Marine Corps is transforming to face the Chinese dragon, with an island-hopping strategy and new missile capabilities, while the Air force and Navy add missiles to their arsenals all aimed at China.
Much of this could not have been possible without the U.S. withdrawing from the Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) missile treaty with Russia by Trump, a treaty which restrained the U.S. while Russia cheated, but never contained China.
Despite all the talk of Trump damaging old alliances, the president has actually strengthened and forged new alliances to face the China threat. His administration has brought an increasingly assertive and active Australia, Japan, and the world’s largest democracy – India – into a deepening counter-China coalition with the U.S. called the “Quad.”
This is laying the groundwork for a much needed Asian NATO.
Trump has also responded to China’s subjugation of Hong Kong and increasing invasion threats and bullying of Taiwan by deepening and raising the level of U.S. support for our island ally far beyond any president in 40 years. He has sent the highest-level U.S. delegations in decades, ramped up weapons sales massively, and even provided Taipei offensive weapons for the first time in four decades.
Team Trump has dramatically increased U.S. naval operations and is establishing new bases in the Pacific. It is also building or rebuilding ties with smaller nations in the region such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia.
To top it all off, the president has also focused on modernizing America’s aging and neglected nuclear arsenal to keep pace with if not maintain superiority against the China and Russian nuclear threats. He has deployed new low yield warheads and hypersonic and is investing in significant improvements to the U.S. nuclear TRIAD.
Finally, Trump also created the nation’s sixth military service – the U.S. Space Force to ensure U.S. focus on and dominance of the critical space domain – a domain both Russia and China have been aggressively striving to take over. And one the U.S. can not afford to lose to either nation.
It is extremely doubtful any of this would have occurred under a pro-China Hillary Clinton administration. Even less likely in the presidency of an even more pro-China, and increasingly China-compromised, Joe Biden.
We only need to see that the U.S. Intelligence Community has officially deemed that China is actively working toward a Biden win to know they fear Trump and are eager for a Biden presidency to go back to “business as usual.”
Any national security-minded American concerned about the threat to the U.S. from communist China should see that President Trump is the clear and only choice to face the serious China menace.
