Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE) appeared on Fox News today to argue in favor of John Bolton testifying at the Trump impeachment trial.
Carper said that the former national security adviser has credibility on both sides of the aisle and that his GOP colleagues should not be afraid of the truth.
Leaked excerpts from Bolton’s upcoming book claim President Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine in an attempt to pressure President Zelensky to investigate his rivals.
Carper, unfortunately for Democrats, struggled to make a coherent argument in favor of impeachment, stumbling over a well-known Bible verse.
