A group of National Guardsmen found themselves under fire early Sunday morning, not in a far-away war zone but on the streets of an American city: Minneapolis.
A National Guard security team along with local officers were targeted by unknown assailants firing at them from a vehicle. Two guardsmen were injured in the attack.
As The Duluth News Tribune reports:
About 4:19 a.m. near Penn Avenue and Broadway Avenue, occupants of a light-colored SUV fired shots at the security team, according to a press release from Operation Safety Net.
Two National Guard members sustained minor injuries from the incident. One Guardsman was injured by shattered glass requiring additional care and was taken to a local hospital. The other Guardsman received only superficial injuries. Their families have been notified.
It was not clear whether the security team were in a vehicle or on foot at the time, and no additional information was available Sunday.
“I am relieved to know none of our Guardsmen were seriously injured,” said Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke, Minnesota National Guard adjutant general. “This event highlights the volatility and tension in our communities right now. I ask for peace as we work through this difficult time.”
The incident occurred just hours after Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters called on protestors to ‘be more confrontational’ a remark many Republicans interpreted as an incitement to violence.

When Maxine Waters traveled to Minneapolis where rioting and looting were already occurring and demanded that the rioters and looters get more confrontational she clearly was inciting violence and doing so in a state that was none of her business. The facts are clear. Maxine Waters should be expelled and banned permanently from any public office. Next obvious step would be criminal charges,but don’t hold your breath on Minnesota pressing charges on a democrat. It’s way past time to retire this vile woman.

This is legal under marshal law, which the military commanders can invoke if the civilian authority is incapable of responding. Joe Biden is OBVIOUSLY incapable, since he is brain damaged. And in the process, they could take Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the appropriate others into protective custody, for their own safely. The republic is teetering on the brink of revolution. The American military is OBLIGATED to intervene.

I was a soldier in Detroit in 67 riot with 82nd Airborne. We fired back and we seldom missed after having a year in Vietnam combat. The crap stopped quickly in Detroit, the word gets around and evil appreciates a fast moving force. Don’t think the MN Guard has the same authority due to the racial mouthed weak Gov. Hope the wounded get back fast, pray for them and family.
