Axios is deeming West Virginia the GOP’s best bet for 2024 as it is the second most Trump-friendly state on the map. Though with Senator Joe Manchin in the seat, it could depend on whether or not he runs for another term. As of now, Republican Representative Alex Mooney has announced he would be running for the seat, though Republican Governor Jim Justice is also said to potentially be running for the seat.
