According to a new poll from The Hill, the anti-Herschel Walker smear campaign lodged by leftists through The Daily Beast, it looks like the attacks have failed. Walker, GOP the U.S. Senate nominee in Georiga, was accused of paying for a girlfriend’s abortion. She produced a “get well card” as proof and claims to have a check Walker wrote for the abortion. He flat-out has denied the claims.
The poll from InsiderAdvantage and Fox 5 that was conducted after the story broke showed not much of a change in support for Walker. The former football star garnered 44 percent to Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock’s 47%, showing the story has not had much of an effect on the race.
Previously, a leftist-commissioned Data for Progress (D) poll had Warnock and Walker tied. Now, with the Fox 5 poll showing a 4.2 percent margin of error, the race continues to be a statistical tie.
According to The Hill, “Matt Towery, the founder of InsiderAdvantage, told Fox 5 that the Georgia Senate contest may be heading for a Dec. 6 runoff election. Under Georgia’s election rules, a candidate must win more than 50 percent of the vote to clinch a victory. For now, at least, neither Warnock or Walker are hitting that mark.”
It is unclear at the moment if either candidate will meet that 50% threshold, with a Libertarian, Chase Oliver, garnering three percent support in the latest poll. The presence of the third-party candidate could swing the race into a runoff. That is what happened in 2020, when Warnock and first-term Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff were first elected.
Warnock is currently filling out the term of the late Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson, who was succeeded by the appointed Sen. Kelly Loeffler. She lost to Warnock.
Warnock has had troubles of his own, with his radical views on releasing violent criminals and his wife alleging Warnock ran over her foot in a domestic dispute.
I am surprised the left hasn’t used that old WCFields joke about him loving children, along with the proof that he had one for breakfast yesterday morning.
Awaiting approval be the speech police.
I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don’t know much about a certain place. Can you help me?
