President Joe Biden’s HHS Secretary says minor children should be allowed to undergo irreversible operations as part of their “gender-affirming care”.
Xavier Becerra was questioned during a Senate committee on Wednesday about the Biden administration’s endorsement of “gender-affirming care” for questioning minors, which includes puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and sex change surgeries.
According to the Daily Caller, Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) asked Becerra under what circumstance it would be appropriate to perform irreversible sex change surgeries on minor children.
“Those decisions are made by that individual, in consultation with a physician, and caregivers, and no decision would be made without having consulted appropriately,” Becerra answered.
Braun then asked if off-label prescriptions of puberty blockers are potentially dangerous for children. The FDA has not approved puberty blocking medication for gender transition purposes.
Becerra said the FDA was looking into puberty blockers and would take action if a treatment was being misused, seemingly implying that the FDA would not interfere in off-label use of the medicine on minors.

I am from California and know what a jerk he is. Sometime back (2017?) I read an article stating that almost 7,000 children had died between 2014 – 2017 because of gender changes. They died because the little girls couldn’t handle testosterone and little boys couldn’t hand estrogen. When I went back to read the article it was no where to be found. Wonder how many children have died because of this since then.
Wouldn’t it be great to see Xavier sued down the road by all of these kids who changed their sex when they were 13 and then realize later it was a mistake, but it cannot be reversed.

Hhhmmmm…..Those words, if we are still using the English language, would mean affirming, agreeing with, one’s gender, in which case, the phrase clearly means, “You are who you are, and your gender is what it is.” It is easier to be who you are, than to put together a different identity that someone else has told you that you should be.
SECOND THOUGHT —trans-generisn, is legal, but just like strong liquor, voting, and gambling, an activity strictly for adults only. Trying to trans-gender a child under 18, performing genital mutilation is child abuse plain and simple, and adults causing or performing it should be held accountable.
Teachers are messing with our kids heads. A kid may think he/she is gay and later decide they’re not. Some adults experiment with both sexes and decide to be/stay heterosexuals. Kids cannot buy alcohol or smokes until 18 and 21 years of age. They cannot drive until they are 16 to 18 years old depending on state. Why would you tell a kid they can have a sex change? Who is going to pay for this procedure and the counseling that will be need before and after. Time to nip this in the bud as Barney Fife would say.
