Citing his involvement in an alleged sex scandal, liberal celebrity Rebekah Jones announced she is running for Congress against Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.
But it’s Jones, not Gaetz, who’s been arrested multiple times, including one arrest in connection to her production of revenge porn.
Jones became a liberal celebrity, and raked in over $600,000 in donations, after claiming she was fired from her job designing websites for the state of Florida after refusing to doctor data.
Jones claims she was a “data scientist” who was ordered by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to falsify data about the state’s COVID deaths when reporting the information to a public website.
She is not a “data scientist,” but holds a degree in geography and was hired to build a website. The data was never falsified, and she never had access to the raw data.
She later admitted never falsifying data.
Despite her claims she was fired for “whistleblowing,” Jones was fired for insubordination, and arrest records show it wasn’t her first firing.
In 2016 Jones was fired from a job at Louisiana State University but refused to leave the building. When police were called she attacked the officer.
As the LSU Reveille newspaper reported in 2016:
On June 13, 26-year-old University staff member Rebekah Jones was booked on one count of battery on a police officer, one count of remaining after forbidden and two counts of resisting arrest, Scott said. Scott said officers arrived at the Sea Grant building when Jones refused to leave at the request of LSU Human Resources. Scott said Jones initiated physical contact against two LSUPD officers while resisting arrest and officers were forced to subdue her.
But it’s a 2019 arrest for stalking and revenge porn that has many wondering how she could possibly run against Gaetz.
In 2019 Jones was served with a restraining order after stalking a Florida State University student, his family, and his employer.
The man was the father of her latest child, but not her current husband.
While teaching at FSU the married Jones began an affair with the student and became pregnant.
She was fired by FSU for the affair, and for lying about her arrest record in her employment application.
Jones began stalking the student, his family, and his employer. vandalizing his car and even texting them close-up photographs of his genitals.
Jones then created a revenge porn website on which she posted an unhinged 349-page manifesto graphically describing her sexual encounters with the student.
The student sought a restraining order, which Jones quickly violated.
She was arrested and will go on trial facing stalking charges.
Jones may be arrested again soon.
Police served a search warrant on Jones’ home late last year, National Review reports, after “a data breach at the FDOH—in which the personal information of 19,000 employees was stolen—was traced back to the IPv6 address that Comcast had assigned to Jones’s house.”

Ever notice how the Dems always accuse the Republicans of doing what they themselves are doing? Like assuming that a conservative judge (i.e., one who interprets the law according to what it says and its original intent) will reflexively make rulings favorable to the right because liberal judges make rulings favorable to the left, regardless of what the law says.
