Vice-President Al Gore reportedly was called upon to try and pressure the Biden Administration into sticking to its plans to pursue a radical green new deal on climate change.

A number of Democrats are growing increasingly nervous that the White House could agree to a bipartisan infrastructure deal that scales back key climate-change initiatives, prompting a lobbying push that has included former vice president Al Gore making his case directly to President Biden.
The private warning last month from the climate hawk and Democratic grandee comes as Biden faces growing unease among liberals — including many administration officials — about his pursuit of Republican support for his next major spending package.
Gore called Biden to insist on the inclusion of climate policies after the encouragement of John Podesta, former chair of the liberal Center for American Progress think tank, said people briefed on the call, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss it. Gore also spoke with Biden aide Steve Ricchetti this week about climate and infrastructure, according to a separate person, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity to reveal the private conversation. A White House official said the call between Gore and Richetti ended on a positive note.
The former vice president urged Biden to stop the planned Byhalia Pipeline, which would transport crude oil for export through predominantly Black neighborhoods in southwest Memphis and could affect a nearby drinking-water well owned by a local utility.

These people never, EVER acknowledge the fact that our climate has changed long before mankind existed. (In their estimation, we were probably Pond Slime when certain weather patterns changed drastically.) Much of North America was blanketed by Mile Thick Glaciers, which melted when the earth warmed. In fact, the Great Lakes are evidence of those glaciers. Mankind’s entire cumulative effect on our climate is roughly equivalent to a mouse fart in a shopping mall. Whatever our climate adjusts to, including solar activity, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and moisture (Which provides the lion’s share of greenhouse gases) we’ll have no effect upon those factors.
Well, really OBiden Shouldn’t either as he was NOT elected President. But yes, go away Gore. Go away Obiden, Harris, and all other usurpers.

Stick around long enough and rest assured our planet will go into another Ice Age. Climate change is an ever evolving event for Earth and driving electric cars, using wind mills and solar panels is not going to change a darn thing except lining the pockets of those involved in the industry. We are being hosed, as usual.
True, but there is technology evolving within the energy sector that will help us transition from fossil fuels to more affordable energy sources. My slant on this issue concerns U.S. Sovereignty. It seems each time Oil Cartel officials stub their toes, we must experience “Pain at the Pump”. Our country can operate 100% on domestic energy supplies, but we’re still relying heavily on Middle East Oil.
We won’t live to see the day with alternative energy sources are affordable! They cost far more, and what do you do with the equipment once it quits? I agree that we should find good sources of energy and not be totally dependent on fossil fuels. But wind power didn’t do Texas any good when they iced over!
Not immediately, but you dismiss the key elements of capitalism. Our technology sectors have developed marvelous energy sources, but it will take competition and market forces to render those technologies affordable. Just wait until Numb Nuts gets us into Iran. Our energy costs will skyrocket, which will get the economic ball rolling among those sectors to compete with oil companies and cartels.

Planet Earth is the number one “polluter” on earth with 800 billion tons annually….20 times that of man…..only .04% of our atmosphere…..temperatures have been steady for decades with little fluctuations…..1600 storms every year on mother earth…..they have nothing to do with “climate change”….

It’s not the worst drought in history. Daddy’s Little Governor (Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown) presided over that phenomenon. There seems to be a correlation between liberal governors and water shortages. You know what’s funny about this ‘drought’ is an incident at Lake Oroville, where the spillway eroded from flooding, causing massive losses of water from that lake. Now the media is poised on the shore of that lake showing us how low the water level is.
