Missouri has filed a lawsuit against China for its government’s failure to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its lack of transparency exacerbating the outbreak.
The Show Me State is seeking damages for the “the enormous loss of life, human suffering, and economic turmoil,” caused by COVID-19.

The suit in the Eastern District of Missouri follows at least seven federal class-action suits that have been filed by private groups, with one filed in Florida saying that China knew “COVID-19 was dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up in their own economic self-interest.”
It also comes on the heels of 22 Republican lawmakers on Monday requesting that the Trump administration bring a case against China to the International Court of Justice (ICIJ) for the country’s actions during the pandemic. (RELATED: MEET CONGRESS’ RISING STARS ITCHING TO GO AFTER CHINA)
Officials told Fox News that outside of the health consequences of the coronavirus — Missouri has confirmed 5,963 cases of the virus and 215 deaths as of Tuesday morning — the economic shutdown the state imposed to reduce the spread of the disease has cost Missouri about $44 billion, according to one estimate.
“In Missouri, the impact of the virus is very real – thousands have been infected and many have died, families have been separated from dying loved ones, small businesses are shuttering their doors, and those living paycheck to paycheck are struggling to put food on their table,” Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said in a statement.

I’m all for it, but, there are mountains of resistance against any actions taken against enemies of our country…namely dimwits and rinos. Does anyone really think NY state gov Cuomo would actually sign-on? Of course not, he just made a deal with the Chinese to ‘assist’ him in opening his state again….it’s really more like paying them for permission to do so. Good luck to anyone wanting to bring them to task, but, it might make more sense to begin at home.

Did you happen to see her response when confronted for delaying the first stimulus? When it was mentioned that people would die due to her games, she replied ‘If there’s some collateral damage, Oh well.’ (Due to her delaying the process to push her personal and radical liberal agenda). At least she can say she was honest about her feelings. What’s more disgusting is those that actually vote for her.

The entire world needs to sue China. I believe all of Europe will make them responsible and sadly only democrats of our country are supporting and defending them. Bringing legal action against China seems entirely reasonable under the circumstances, the “circumstances” being that the Chinese Government screwed up royally.
Any action taken against China will inevitably lead to actual war with our military. However, we must engage our enemies on every front.
I agree we should confiscate all China owned businesses and property along with cancelling all debt owed to China.
We need to rebuild our manufacturing and industrial base ASAP! Stop buying products from China. Big box stores are totally reliant on on China and China is totally reliant on the United States of America for their economic well-being because we buy more product from China than any other country in the world.
