Elon Musk, billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, shared his views on transgender medical treatments for children on Twitter. Musk’s comments were in response to an MSNBC op-ed that criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and other Republicans’ efforts to ban transgender medical treatments for minors. Musk’s tweet stated that “any parent or doctor who sterilizes a child before they are a consenting adult should go to prison for life.”

Republican lawmakers, including Senator Ted Cruz, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Representative Max Miller, supported Musk’s stance. They argued that transgender medical treatments are potentially harmful and that children should not be allowed to make life-altering decisions before they fully understand the consequences. At least 14 states have enacted bans on transgender medical treatments for minors.
Although many people want to show tolerance and acceptance towards transgender children, the use of medical treatments for them remains a controversial topic. The majority of Americans recognize the severe consequences that minors may face if allowed to undergo procedures leading to sterilization. There are those who share Elon Musk’s opinion that permitting a child to undergo sterilization or genital and breast mutilation is a legal transgression committed by the parents and doctors who have let down these minors.
Elon Musk and many others believe that parents and doctors who allow children to sterilize themselves or undergo genital or breast mutilation should face legal repercussions. While some argue that children should have autonomy over their own bodies, others argue that they are not mature enough to make such life-altering decisions. It’s concerning that while children are not legally allowed to engage in sexual activity with an adult, purchase alcohol, smoke or rent a car, they are given the ability to undergo irreversible bodily modifications.

Elon Musk is correct. Children are still going through hormonal changes disrupting their growth can shorten their life span. Who are we to tell God He made a mistake? People who does this are criminals and should really be jailed for life.

When a child grows up and can feel and decide what their sexuality is – so be it. But like all other cosmetic surgery pay for it yourself. For any other adult to indoctrinate , including teachers, parents and doctors, our childrens well being should go to jail
