President Biden claimed the COVID-19 “pandemic phase” is a thing of the past earlier this week. Director of the NIH, Anthony Fauci, has stepped in and felt the need to let Americans know that “people should not be cavalier that we’re out of the woods.” Now over two years in, multiple vaccines available, and countless dollars poured into the effort of COVID-19 research and relief efforts, somehow were not out of the woods of this pandemic yet.
“What he really meant is that the very severe stage of the pandemic of having … 3,000 deaths a day — that stage is no longer present,” Fauci told Politico, adding that “people should not be cavalier that we’re out of the woods.”
Biden never said that COVID-19 was entirely a thing of the past, but as he looked forward to the first Detroit Auto Show in three years, he did indicate that the pandemic stage is in the rearview mirror.
“The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID, we’re still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over,” Biden said in the interview, which aired Sunday.
Republicans were quick to point to the president’s remark to counter the administration, which has been pushing for an additional $22 billion in government spending to go toward COVID relief. Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., sent a letter to Biden asking if he intends to end administration programs and policies related to the pandemic in light of his statement.
“I think what the president was trying to say is that the worst of the pandemic is over,” Khanna said, pointing to those who suffer symptoms of what is referred to as “long COVID,” as well as “people who are vulnerable who have issues.”
The pandemic that may never end (at least as long as the current bureaucrats remain in power). The ‘zero COVID’ idea is simply impossible, the virus spreads too easily and is often detected without people showing any symptoms. Yet, those in power are still making a push for ‘zero COVID’, and will call the existence of the virus a threat in and of itself.

Fauci is over. He probably also thinks men can get pregnant.
Dr fauci, is 100% irrelevant! No one cares what he has to say, and millions of us are waiting for him to be imprisoned for his crimes against humanity. When in the hell is this going to happen?
We don’t listen to quack boy any more. He just wants more kick backs from big pharma so he will be telling everyone to line up and get their booster shots for the rest of their lives.
