- Pelosi received notice via email, instructing vacating and re-keying of space for “speaker office use.”
- The eviction was executed promptly, with Pelosi’s staff facilitating the move following the vote to remove Kevin McCarthy as the Speaker of the House.
- Many would go on to wonder why Rep. Pelosi was still occupying the Speakers office, as Rep. McCarthy was the GOP Speaker of the House for 9 months.
Why did Nancy Pelosi still occupy the Speaker’s hideaway office?!
Why didn’t McCarthy boot her 9 months ago?!
