Trump Arraigned in Court After Being Indicted by Manhattan Grand Jury
Former President Donald Trump appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon, following his indictment by a Manhattan grand jury last week. The arraignment took place before Judge Juan Merchan, the trial judge presiding over the case.
Trump was charged with 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, a charge which alleges that he falsified New York business records with the intent to defraud. Trump would go on to plead not guilty to the charges.
The Unfounded Allegations
New York State Attorney General Alvin Bragg, who is leading the prosecution against Trump, alleges that he falsified New York business records to conceal damaging information from American voters before and after the 2016 election. Bragg also claims that Trump employed a ‘catch and kill’ scheme to purchase and bury negative information about him and boost his electoral prospects.
Bragg alleges that Trump went to great lengths to hide this conduct, causing dozens of false entries in business records to conceal criminal activity, including attempts to violate state and federal election laws.
Trump’s Defense and the Trial Date
The prosecution is pushing for a trial in January 2024, during the GOP presidential primary season. However, Trump’s defense team is pushing for a delay, wanting to push the trial back as far as possible.

Trump’s Reaction
Trump has slammed the DA’s investigation and the indictment as “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.” Despite this, the judge did not impose a gag order, meaning that Trump is free to speak his mind on the matter.
Although the indictment is unprecedented, Trump remains confident in his innocence, and his legal team is preparing a robust defense. With the next hearing set for December 4th, 2023, in the same Lower Manhattan court, the case is expected to proceed as expeditiously as possible.

I feel that before any charges or court dates concerning President Trump be made they NEED to go after those that ARE corrupt–Pelosi, Biden, Schiff, Nadler, Schumer, Waters, Romney and a whole lot more that we probably don’t know anything about
What about all the news and people that hid information about Sleepy Joe, he would not be President right now if the things that he had hidden during his election, (Hunter Biden Lap Top) and money from China, maybe we should find some backed Trump DA to bring charges against Sleepy Joe when he gets out of office.
