Green was reportedly shot and killed by Capitol police after ramming his car into two officers, killing one and wounding another, and then exiting the car with a knife.
In the meantime, far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar made an insane remark in the wake of the attack, claiming that the death toll would have been higher if an AR-15 would have been involved.

Didn’t you read Omar’s comment. Just because no AR-15 was used doesn’t mean it doesn’t need to be banned. As she said, if there had been an AR-15 present, the death toll would have been much greater. After killing the assailant and the two policemen involved, it would have had 27 rounds left in the magazine to go hunting for any innocent passers-by, who probably would have been minority women and children. Because that’s what evil AR-15s do.
I had a long talk with my guns and they understand that it’s wrong to go looking for people to shoot on their own. They have been pretty good guns since I’ve had them.
