Missouri: Josh Hawley
Hawley was elected Senator in 2019 and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading constitutional lawyers. He has litigated at the Supreme Court of the United States, the federal courts of appeals, and in state court, fighting for the people’s liberties. Hawley was a major proponet of fight against COVID lockdowns and creating more domestic jobs. After the poor performance by Republicans in the 2022 midterms he also gained notoriety for tweeting, “The old party is dead. Time to bury it. Build something new.”
Next election is a lifetime away, politically speaking of course. There’s a chance Pennsylvania will have a special election when they realize that Fetterman is a radically brain flawed progressive that just happened to have had a stroke rather than the other way around. The only thing protecting him now is there’s no 25th amendment for Senators as proved by the Senate’s History with barely living members in the past.
